KUS-ON, the official student public relations team representing Korea University Sejong Campus, is now recruiting new trainee reporters for the Spring semester of 2025.

1. Recruitment Details: Trainee Reporter Track

A. Number of Openings: Report Team: Open/Media Team: Open/Design Team: Open/ International Publicity Division: Open

 

B. Application Schedule

1)   Document Submission Deadline: By Saturday, March 22, 11:59 PM

2)   Announcement of Document Screening Results: Monday, March 24

3)   Interviews: Individual contact and further notice (mandatory attendance)

4)   Final Selection Announcement: Wednesday, March 26

 

C. Eligibility

- Currently enrolled students who can participate for at least 3 semesters at the Sejong Campus (new/transfer/re-enrolled students eligible)

 

D. Activity Duration

1)     Trainee Reporter Track: 3 months

2)   Regular Reporter Track: Begins after promotion from trainee (post-3-month evaluation)
※ Promotion to regular reporter follows evaluation and completion of training and activities in each team.

 

E. Main Activities

1)     Publish the official Sejong Campus newsletter KU SEJONG

2)     Plan and produce various promotional content for Korea University Sejong Campus

3)     Manage the official university website and SNS channels

 

F. Activity Benefits

1)   Equipment rental for coverage and filming, if needed

2)   Capacity-building workshops by invited experts

3)   Scholarship and certificate awarded upon completion of the trainee period

4)   Business cards and appointment letter upon promotion to regular reporter

5)   Scholarships and activity stipends through the ‘Communication Leader Training Program’ (for regular reporters)

6)   Certificate issued by the Director of the Admissions & Public Relations Office, valid as career proof (for regular reporters)

7)   Support for team uniforms

 

2. Team Activity Overview

A. Report Team

1)     Cover campus events and write articles

2)     Interview members of the university community (students, alumni, professors, etc.)

3)     Contribute to the official Korean newsletter

B. Media Team

1)     Photograph and film on- and off-campus events

2)     Record and edit interview videos

3)     Plan and produce promotional videos for Sejong Campus

 

C. Design Team

1)     Create card news (infographic content)

2)     Design posters and promotional images

 

D. International Publicity Division

1)     Translate Korean articles and materials for the official website into English/Chinese

2)     Conduct interviews with international exchange students and cover related events

3)     Plan and produce English/Chinese promotional content
